Tonight, I actually worked on updating my LJ. Tags, entries, layout, header... you name it. I mean, I never
do anything with this old thing. I don't imagine that is likely to change, but hey, that's life. I am in my junior year of college now. I believe I began using/browsing Livejournal when I was a junior in high school. I suppose that's interesting... to some people. Maybe all it says is I haven't posted a hell of a lot since then, which is also true.
My head is always full of fandoms and stories and crap, but at the moment, my current projects are going swimmingly well... much better than all the other times I have said that my projects are going well, in fact. I am in the process of writing a Wicked/RENT crossover fic, Somewhere Over The Moon, which is being posted on fanfiction.net. At the very least, I will link to it here, though I suspect I'll post the story here as well, just for the hell of it. I have written the entirety of the first act, though I haven't posted it all yet. The second act is giving me a harder time. It's not nearly as scripted, so the writing is going much, much slower. Not to mention that I'm taking two writing courses at school, and finding time to write for fun is, well, difficult. Still, I intend to actually finish this one. It will be my first completed multi-chapter project since A Bond Unbreakable - which I never actually finished, I guess, plus no one really knows about it anyway (if you're really curious, ask, but it's not all that great, I don't think). I'm very proud of Somewhere Over The Moon, so please, read it. For me.
My other big project at the moment is not taking top priority. My most recent obsession is the real person pairing of Eden Espinosa and Megan Hilty, who happen to be two of the most amazingly talented Broadway actresses alive, in my opinion. I have never worked with real-person pairings before, so this is all new territory for me. I have developed, in my head, a canon storyline for them. Writing it down is not as easy. Some of it's getting written. Mostly, it's still in my head.
In other news, I plan to have an entry for 1sentence
done sometime soon. It will feature one of my favorite new pairings, Elphaba and Glinda (otherwise known as Gelphie) from Wicked. It will be awesome, because they are awesome. Enough said.
NaNoWriMo may or may not happen for me this year. We'll see. I'm not making any promises to myself. I mostly just want to finish Somewhere Over The Moon. If I can do that, I will be content... for now.
